Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 15, 2025
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the services provided by Texas Sons Appliance Repair ("we," "us," or "our"). By scheduling, requesting, or receiving any service from us, you ("Customer" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1

Services Provided

Texas Sons Appliance Repair provides in-home appliance diagnosis, repair, and related services throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Our services include but are not limited to repair of:

  • Washers and dryers
  • Refrigerators and freezers
  • Ovens, ranges, and cooktops
  • Dishwashers
  • Ice makers and other household appliances

We reserve the right to decline service on any appliance we determine is unsafe, beyond repair, or outside our area of expertise.

2

Scheduling and Appointments

When scheduling a service appointment, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the appliance and the issue
  • Ensure a responsible adult (18+) is present at the property during the service window
  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the appliance and the work area
  • Notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule

We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled service window. However, we are not liable for delays caused by traffic, prior jobs running long, or other circumstances outside our control.

3

Diagnostic Fee

A diagnostic fee may be charged for each service visit. This fee covers the technician's travel, time, and assessment of the appliance. The diagnostic fee is due at the time of the visit regardless of whether you choose to proceed with the repair. If you approve the repair and we complete it, the diagnostic fee may be applied toward the total cost of the repair, as disclosed at the time of scheduling.

4

Estimates and Authorization

Before performing any repair, our technician will provide you with a cost estimate. Work will not begin until you provide verbal or written authorization to proceed. By authorizing the repair, you agree to pay the quoted amount upon completion. If additional issues are discovered during the repair that affect the cost, we will notify you before continuing and obtain your approval.

5

Payment

Payment is due in full upon completion of the service. We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Cash
  • Credit and debit cards
  • Electronic payment methods (as available)

Failure to pay at the time of service may result in a late fee and/or collection action. We reserve the right to charge interest on past-due balances at the maximum rate permitted by Texas law.

6

Parts and Labor Warranty

We stand behind our work. Unless otherwise specified in writing at the time of service, repairs performed by Texas Sons Appliance Repair are covered by a limited warranty on parts and labor. Warranty terms will be provided to you at the time of service completion. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, power surges, pre-existing conditions unrelated to the repair, or unauthorized repairs performed by others after our service.

7

Limitation of Liability

Texas Sons Appliance Repair is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to food spoilage, water damage, property damage unrelated to our work, or loss of use of an appliance. Our total liability for any claim arising from a service visit shall not exceed the amount paid for that specific service.

8

Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring the work area is safe, accessible, and free of hazards
  • Disclosing any known issues with the appliance or property that may affect the repair
  • Properly maintaining appliances following manufacturer guidelines after service
  • Ensuring that pets are secured during the service visit
9

Cancellations and No-Shows

We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in a cancellation fee or refusal of future service. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to technician availability, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control.

10

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any customer who is abusive, threatening, or creates an unsafe working environment for our technicians, or for any other lawful reason at our discretion.

11

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Tarrant County, Texas.

12

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
